Women's association of Paladka and Secular Franciscan 3rd order of Paladka jointly organized a Seminar on Family life on 4th October 2009.This programme is organized as a part of Diocesan "Convention of Faithful".

Fr. Stany Rodrigues, Parish Priest, Fr. Henry Fernandes, Resource person, Sr. Suma, Mr. Vincent Sequeira, Mr. Denis D'mello. Smt. Juliana D'souza and Smt. Dorin Sequeira were on the Dias.

The progamme started with a prayer hymn by Smt. Gracy D'souza, Smt. Winny Pinto and Smt. Rita Saldanha followed by a reading from the Gospel by Smt. Petrecia Sequeira. Smt. Benedicta Danthis gave reflection over the reading.

Smt. Juliana D'souza, President of the 3rd order welcomed the guests and participants. Fr. Stany Rodrigues, Parish Priest Inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp.

He in his address said that he always wanted to have this type of a programmes for the benefit of the Parishoners and appreciated the efforts of the Women's Association and Secular Fransiscan 3rd order of the Parish.

The Vice President of the Parish Mr. Vincent Sequeira in his message said that we should get the inspiration from this programme to live better family life.

Fr. Henry Fernandes spoke on many dimensions of family life. In recent years family life underwent many changes due to the influence of media. Now a days people use human beings and love things. Responsible parents influence their children to live a better life.

Then members of Women's association and Secular Franciscan 3rd order presented a small but meaningful cultural programme.
