![]() Birth Feast(Tharikechem Fest) of the Patron St. Ignatius Loyola was celebrated with devotion and glory by the parishioners on July31st. The celebrations began with 8am mass. The main festive mass began at 10.00am. Fr. Rohith D’costa new priest from Paladka church and presently Assistant Parish priest of Madanthyar church was the main celebrant. Fr. Stany Rodrigues, Parish Priest, Fr. Alfred Pinto, Fr. Rupert Barboza and Fr. Naveen were the Co-celebrants. Fr. Rohith D’costa delivered a very good homily in which he highlighted the life of St. Ignatius Loyola and said that the wounded soldier Ignatius, lying down on the hospital bed was enlightened by reading the Word of God and life histories of saints. Then he decided to dedicate his entire life for Jesus Christ. Thus St. Ignatius Loyola became a chosen soldier of Christ. The Church choir with their melodious hymns added devotion to the mass. At the end, the Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Fr. Stany Rodrigues thanked the Parishioners and all those responsible for the success of the Parish programmes and the Feast. Go Back Comments
