Paladka, June 2 : June 1, 2008 was a day marked with send-off function in the morning and welcome function in the evening.

The send-off function for the outgoing Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Norbert Lobo was arranged soon after the morning 8.00AM mass.

Parish Council Secretary Denis D'Mello welcomed the gathering. Parish Council Vice-President Vincent Sequeira honoured the Priest whereas former Vice-President Mr. Andrew Serrao expressed thanking words to the Priest on behalf of the Parishioners.

Victor D'Souza (Victor Kadandale) compered the function.

At 4.00PM all the Parisiohers gathered at the Church gate to welcome the new Priest Rev. Fr. Stanley Rodrigues who has been transferred here from Naravi Parish.

All went in a procession to the Church where Monsignor Edwin C Pinto, the Bishop's representative conducted the rituals of transfer of power.

Parish Priests of Anegudde and Naravi Parish were present on the occasion.
