A seminar on women's health was organized by the women's association of Paladka for the benefit of women and couples on 21st August 2011. The programme began with a reading from the Bible by smt. Petrecia Sequeira and a short prayer by Smt. Agnes D'Souza . Smt. Jecintha Sequeira, President of women's association welcomed the guests and gathering. Parish Priest Fr. Gilbert D'Souza offered flower bouquet to the resource person Dr. Prema D'cunha.

Dr. Prema D'cunha, Professor of Fr. Muller's medical college hospital, Mangalore together with Kumari Soumya and Kumari Iona explained about the health problems faced by middle aged women using powerpoint presentation.
