It's an immense pleasure to shout with joy that we are at the celebration of completing the 125th year of Mangalore Diocese.
As a activity of the celebration,[starting from Mangalore] each and every parish of the Diocese has been receiving the Holy Cross from the neighbouring parish and the adoration continuous for 3 days respectively.
So also, by turn, we received the Holy Cross from Sampige Church on the 20th July 2011 at 11am which proceeded here with devotional manner by the holy procession of Sampige parishioners.
The gathering and the vicar of Paladka church welcomed it with great respect, unity and family spirit. All the 12 Wards of the parish conducted, adoration and prayers hour by hour till 3 days.
Ultimately on the 22nd of July, morning 11th hour, we- 100 people together with our vehicles proceeded with the Holy Cross to Alangar Holy Rosary Church, by prayers and Holy procession.
