On the 17th June 2011,St.Ignatius Loyola Hr. Pry.school Children gathered with their teachers and parents in the School Hall Sharp at 10am. Good many students of St. Ignatius Hr. Pry. School Paladka are very poor.Hence the stitched uniforms were distributed. The stitching cost was Rs. 13,000/-.
As the Correspondent Rev.Fr.Gilbert accompaning the Chief guest Mr.Balachandra P.NAYAK,(S/O Purushottham Nayak,Kodyadka)on the stage,Mrs.Purushottham Nayak Kodyadka,presided over the function.Vice President Mr.Andrew D'Souza,Secretary Mr.Victor A.D'Souza,School Committee member Mr.Alwyn D'Souza were the guests.
The man of great humanity Mr.Arun Mendes was kind enough to distribute the uniforms to the whole school children.As such Mr. Balachandra P.Nayak joyfully distributed umbrellas and note books to all students,either leaving or missing anybody.Mr.Devdas Hegde(H.M.of the school) thanked Mr.Arun Mendes and Mr.Balachandra and his family from the bottom of his heart for their generosity. The interest amount of Rs. 5000/- was taken from Kuwait Canara Welfare Association fund. Church is greateful to their generous contribution.

The church has many other projects for the students like band, having a well trained bass-band team. For improving the various talents of the children in sports, games, dance, etc., there is a plan to get well trained part time teachers in the various fields. If any donors or sponsors are welcomed.
