Catechism day was celebrated with a Holy Eucharistic Mass sharp at 3:30pm.Sermon preached by Fr.Jerald Sagar who visited here from Bidar. It was in Kannada.
After the tea at 4:30 all the parishioners gathered in the open ground. Stage function started in the presence of former and existing Parish Council Bearers.Vicar Rev.Herald presided over the function.
Prayer song sung by the kids and the children performed the Beblical programmes classwise.
Bro. Melwyn Tellis who was helping in the Parish activities from six months was honoured by the Vicar.He thanked the parishers as a response to his farewell veneration.
All the parish council members were honoured too. Besides that, presents were given to the children who did well in the Catechism. Master Vishal Pinto was honored for his achievement of gold medal in Catechetical exam of 7th STD.
Parishioners enjoyed the cultural items and Biblical messages through variety entertainment programmes. Vice president Mr. Andrew D'Souza and former Vice president Mr. Vincent Sequeira congratulated the teachers who trained the children, and said, it's a wonderful unforgettable job to teach the children to walk in the right path, through Biblical Moral incidents.

The function was ended by Vicar's speech thanking one and all. The programme was compered by Victor A D'Souza.
