On the 30th of January 2011, one hundred people did get together at parish hall immediate after Sunday mass. Mr. Vincent Sequeira, the comperor of the function called the guests upon the stage. The President Mrs. Benedicta Danthis welcomed the guests and the Catholic Sabha members offered the roses to them. The annual report was read by Mrs. Agnes D'souza, the secretary of Catholic Sabha.
As an entertainment indoor games were conducted by Mr. Victor D'Souza, the former President of Catholic Sabha and winners were given prizes by the Vicar Rev. Fr. Harold Periera. The senior members of Catholic Sabha aged above 70years, Mr. Peter Cardoza, Mrs. Severine Fernandes and Mr. Raymond Sequeira were honoured at the same time. The deserved and well served experts were also venerated offering flowers by the guests.
In his speech Fr. Harold expressed his joy and satisfaction saying that it is a good job celebrating the annual day and identifying the elders and experts.
The winners of elocution competetion(held on 17/10/2010) were offered cash prizes. The winners list was read by Mrs. Dorin Sequeira and 15 children and elders of the parish owned the prizes.
The welwishers of Catholic Sabha were thanked, that is Mr. Hilary D'Souza, Mr. Valerian, Mr. Maxim Lobo, Mr. Henry and Mr. Vijaya D'Sa who donated some amount to Catholic Sabha.
Mrs. Benedicta Danthis, the President of Catholic Sabha was the President of the day as it was a rule in Catholic Sabha. Fr. Harold Periera, Bro. Melwyn, Sr. Suma, Mr. Andrew D'Souza, Mr. Victor Kadandale, Mr. Victor D'Souza, Mr. Denis D'Mello, Mr. Vincent Sequeira and Mrs. Agnes D'Souza were the guests. Mr. Victor Kadandale proposed vote of thanks. The programme ended in an hour, singing the hymn 'Oh give thanks to the Lord for he is good' and all returned back happily, having a delicious breakfast at 10.30 am.
