Fathima ward members celebrated Christmas on 18th December 2010 at 5.00pm at Mr. Edward Barboza's house. The programme began with a prayer song by the ward members. Ward Gurkarn Smt. Eugene Cardoza welcomed the guests and gathering. Parish Priest Fr. Harold Periera, Vice President of PPC Mr. Vincent Sequeira, Secretary of PPC Mr. Denis D'mello, Sr. Suma, Superior of St. Ignatius convent and Sr. Jossina were the guests of the day. The ward members presented a skit on Christmas theme. This was followed by a Bible quiz and games. Senior members of the ward Mr. Peter Cardoza and Smt. Remedia D'souza were honoured on this occasion. Smt. Sunitha Cardoza and Monthi Cutinha were honoured for serving the ward as members of PPC for past three years. Newly elected members of PPC Mr. Edward Barboza and Smt. Metilda Cardoza were also honoured.
Mr. Denis D'mello in his message appreciated the efforts of ward members in organizing this programme. Vice president of Parish Pastoral Parishad Mr. Vincent Sequeira in his brief message congratulated the Gurkarn and ward members for organizing the Christmas programme meaningfully and creatively in a short period. Fr. Harold Periera Parish Priest said that he is happy to see talents of ward members in the skit. He congratulated Gurkarn and all ward members for the programme. Mr. Edward Barboza proposed vote of thanks. Kuswar was distributed after the programme. Miss Elveera Cardoza compered the programme.
