ICYM Paladka had organized a Cricket and Throwball tournament for youths of Moodbidri, Bantwal and Kinnigloi varado on 31st October & 1st November 2009. Opening ceremony of this tournament was held at Paladka Church Stage at 10am on 31/10/2009. Church Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Stany Rodrigues, K.P. Sucharitha Shetty, Alwyn D'Souza, Robin Fernandes, Avil anthis and Praveen Sequeira were present on the dias.

Program began with a prayer by Paladka School students. Paladka ICYM President Mr. Robin Fernandes welcomed the chief guests and gathering. Match was inaugurated by K.P. Sucharitha Shetty by lighting the lamp. Rev Fr. Stany Rodrigues & Sucharitha Shetty addressed the gathering and gave best wishes for all youths. Vinitha D'Souza gave vote of thanks and she was the master of ceremony of inauguration ceremony.

Parish Priest, K.P. Sucharitha Shetty and Alwyn D'Souza inaugurated the tournament by playing on the cricket pitch. Then matches of the day began.

On Sunday , 01/11/09 the matches began after Holy Mass. 20 cricket and 4 throw ball teams took part in the tournament.

The prize distribution was held on Sunday eveneing.Rev|Fr|Stany Rodrigues,K.P.Sucharitha Shetty,Andrew D'Souza,Alwyn D'Souza,ICYM President Robin Fernandes, Sports Secretary Avil Dantis,Praveen Sequiera were present on the stage.Guests of the program distributed prizes and congragulated the winners.All guests congragulated ICYM Paladka youths for organizing the tournament and wished to continue the same.
