Nativity of Mother Mary celebrated as Monthi Fest. Early in the morning people of Parish gathered together near Karimale junction.

Children with beautiful flowers in their hands, gurkars of ward with new corn ( Paddy) were present along with the people with a festive look. The parish Priest Rev. Fr. Sylvester D'Costa explained to the people significance of the day celebration and blessed the new corn.Then the procession was led to the church for mass.

After the mass light refreshment were served to all the people gathered and sugarcane a each was given to all.and ward people came together in their wards to share the nem corn(noven Jevan)
