The celebration of Good Friday Liturgy at Vamadapadav Church was commenced at 5.00p.m. The holy ceremony and rituals of the day were centered on the feeling of sorrow at the pain and humiliation that Jesus underwent for the cause of goodness and humility.

Today the altar was stripped of all adornments. A devotion of WAY OF THE CROSS was conducted from 5.00-5.45 p.m. ( by Dn.Cyril Valder, and brothers: Roshan D’Souza, Richard Fernandes and Joston Lobo). The gospel reading was presented in a singing form (by Fr.Abel Lobo, Mr.Ajay and the choir). Deacon Cyril Valder gave a meaningful homily. The closed Crucifix was brought in a procession and was exposed; followed by kissing of that Cross by all who have gathered.
