The parishioners of Vamadapadav congregated at 6.00 p.m. with great devotion to celebrate the holy commemoration of the LAST SUPPER. The parish priest Rev.Fr.Abel Lobo, celebrated the solemn liturgy and washed the feet of the 12 members of parish (two from each ward, including Gurkar). It was a imitation of Jesus’ lesson in humility. The holy ceremony included a procession, by carrying the blessed sacrament to the place of reposition. The altar was stripped bare, as a preparatory act for Good Friday. At the end an adoration of ½ hour was conducted by the parish priest.
