Eversince the erection of this parish the second or third Sunday of January has been celebrated as the offertory Sunday. This year the majority of the members of parish had decided to cancel the annual feast (odlem fest). So the Parish Pastoral council decided to celebrate the parish day on the occasion of offertory Sunday. Thus on the 17th of January, we had a meaningful celebration of parish day.

As in the past people brought a small share of their cultivation, to offer at the altar, during the Holy Mass. Rev.Fr.Antony George Pinto from Jeppu Seminary was the main celebrant and the chief guest of the day who preached a touching homily on the theme ‘my responsibility towards my parish’.

A shamiana was put in the church campus for the festal function, where the offerings were auctioned soon after the Mass. Then the games committee conducted variety of lucky games to all including housie. Winners were felicitated by Prizes. At the end all took part in a tasty meal. Rev.Fr.Abel Lobo, the parish priest thanked all those who have worked towards the success of this parish day.
